What is CSIR NET?

The Joint CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship/Assistant Professor positions in Indian universities and colleges. The exam covers five science subjects and is held twice a year (June and December sessions).
